InSinkErator Evolution Compact 3/4 HP Disposer Review

In my earlier post on which I covered on InSinkErator Evolution Excel 1.0 HP, today I am going to share with you another InSinkErator model which I have also tried in my mother-in-law's house.

What's the difference you say? The key difference is between both is that InSinkErator Evolution Compact 3/4 HP weighs 3 pounds lighter (20 pounds vs 23 pounds) and smaller sizer as compared to InSinkErator Evolution Excel 1.0 HP.

Key areas I like about InSinkErator Evolution Compact

Quiet Sound

Thanks to the sound reducing technology from InSinkErator that makes it so quiet as compared with a standard disposer. The case itself is insulated; the sink-drain connector assembly's metal parts are rubber cushioned and the discharge pipe flange is rubber. These anti-vibration innovations work. When there is no water or waste is in the unit, all you hear is a very mild hum. If it was much quieter and you wouldn't know it was on.

Throw Anything inside the Disposal

Yes that's right, so far I have tried throwing small bones to bannas peels into the disposal without worrying about any jams in the disposal. Even though initial I am kinda skeptical especially with my prior experience trying other lower quality and cheap disposals. You get what you pay for!  It's 2 chamber design takes food in, grinds it with one set of grinders, then sends it down to a second chamber where it's ground again

Quick and Easy to Install

I have installed several of the other product line from InSinkErator, and this was the quickest installation yet, which included complete exchange of the drain.

Small Compact Size

It's one of the smallest of the high-end disposers, giving more room to store things in your sink-base cabinet, and more room for your body when working on under-sink plumbing.

How To Install InSinkErator Evolution Compact

To mount and install this garbage disposal, you will need to:
1. Lift the 20 pound disposal and hold it steady with one hand
2. Match the three tabs on the top of the garbage disposal collar to the three spaces in the mounting bracket
3. Use your other hand to hook into the disposal's collar with an large Allen wrench.
4. Turn the Allen wrench and tighten the disposal into the bottom of the sink while making sure all three tabs stay in place on the mounting bracket.
